So an actual post.
Life is perfectly decent. Fun planned for this weekend includes a trip to the FFM at cyclorama on Sat. That's Fetish Fair Fleamarket for those outside the Boston area or who have never been. Its fun to walk around, and Kendra loves corsets, so I imagine purchases of some sort will occur. If the weather is nice I might like to hit a beach. Finally got through two of the three netflix we had sitting about. Gungrave was ok, not the best anime I have seen. Samurai 7 is good, but not purchase worthy I think. We have the new Chevalier d'Eon to watch, which we have bought the first volume to since we both liked it so much.
Work is hard, and with my boss down in Prov. most of the weeks it makes my day more difficult. I wish they would hurry up and decide what is going on with this. If we are moving just my dept to RI then I'd like to be able to plan. My folks have posed the possibility of us taking over the house from them, which would be um...what's the word? Oh yeah AMAZING. Free house? Salary directly to bills and savings? ZOMG yes. I mean I love Boston and I know I once swore never to go back to that little island. But the potential to help us is so strong that I couldn't say no.
Playing a lot of WoW. I made 70 with my main Baristan (Human Retribution Paladin), and people are right. The game feels like it starts over there. Arenas, mega-instances, heroics...its kind of daunting. I am in a bit of a bind though. My guild is well...not helpful at times. And very large. There is however another guild that is trying to recruit me. They are fun and I like to run with them, not to mention they are an RP guild which is nice. But I feel a sense of loyalty to my current guild because they have helped me on occasion, like to get my Charger which I could not have done alone. So i am torn. Tonight I am supposed to run Caverns of Time to get attuned for Karazhan (big tough instance). If they flake I think I am out and will join the fun new crew. I know, tough choices in my fake life.
I've pretty much quit the Cam. My heart just wasn't in it. I loathe what Requiem has become. I love Forsaken, but decisions made by officers crushed that and I had to walk away. Mage...just never held up for me. Lots of shiny, but I scratched at it and found tin underneath. Changeling is tempting, but I don't know if I want to get involved only to watch the same shit happen again.
